The Mouse Trap
A Surrealist Worker Review
It is reassuring to see that after all these years, the production values still hold up. The colourful ensemble works smoothly together, with a glossy finish.
The set pieces individually are elegant in their simplicity, but build together to produce an ultimately satisfying whole.
As events progress, tension builds, and you find yourself holding your breath. The final act, releasing as it does all the stored energy of the build up, comes as a welcome relief. As you watch the twists and turns of the final moments, you get caught up in the action, and the dramatic conclusion, while it should be obvious, still comes as a surprise.
"Mouse Trap" a game for 2-4 players is made by MB Games (a division of Hasbro.)
