  1. Matches are mobile pinholes into Hell. They have been plugged with short pieces of wood, and then sealed. If you scrape some of the sealant off, the flames of Hell will leak through. Due to the instability of these holes, the act of vigorously shaking the opening (by dragging it around by the piece of wood stuck in the hole) will cause the worm-hole to collapse and thus save the World as we know it.
